| Unlike
traditional print making, where the printing medium was used to mass produce multiple,
inferior copies of one original piece, Andrew's art is produced directly from
one screen which, by repeated reworking, is used to create an 'original' set of
prints that are unrepeatable pieces of fine art work in their own right.
1: Painting the screen with blue filler to create
a stencil. 2:
Hand mixing an individual colour ink. 3:
Positioning the print under the screen. 4:
Printing the ink through the stencil screen. 5:
Cleaning. |
