Andrew Tyler BA MA

EDUCATION:

Cheltenham College of Arts - BA in Fine Art Printmaking

Chelsea School of Art, London - MA in Fine Art Printmaking

His work has been shown in galleries throughout the UK, including the Royal Academy, London, (silver prize winner in the Stowell's Trophy competition 1982) and more recently, in the Wrexham Print International 2003. His unique view of people has received numerous reviews, including The Face magazine.

Andy Tyler won the second prize for his print 'Fantascape No.2' at The Cheltenham Group of Artists, Cheltenham Art Prize 2004, Open Exhibition at the Pittville gallery. The prizes were selected and presented by John Huggins FRBS RWA, Vice President of the Royal West of England Academy, who said that the Mr Tyler's screen print was good fun and had been skilfully executed to the highest standard.

Collectors of his work include: Bill Wyman (musician) and Oscar Grillo (animator).
